Bill Burr’s Monologue on Saturday Night Live

After three decades of stand-up comedy, Bill Burr finally landed “a lifelong dream” by hosting Saturday Night Live in October 2020.

He covered familiar themes from his catalog, updated for today. Among them: Earth’s overpopulation, and the audacity of white women. Suffice it to say, people who weren’t familiar with Burr before now were unsure what to make of him, while most comedians loved it. Even if Burr may have still been rusty, thanks no thanks to the lack of onstage opportunities for stand-ups during the COVID-19 pandemic.

More to come on this in my full recap for Decider!
