Comedy Central is giving a one-hour stand-up special to another one of its correspondents from The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.
Michael Kosta will tape his upcoming performances on Nov. 15 in Detroit for broadcast in summer 2020. Tickets are free, available via www.tblus.com/michaelk, for the shows at Detroit’s Gem Theatre.
Kosta, a Michigander, previously starred on E!’s The Comment Section and co-hosted Crowd Goes Wild with Regis Philbin for Fox Sports 1, before joining The Daily Show. He also has featured in a half-hour for Comedy Central Presents.
Two other current Daily Show contributors/correspondents, Dulcé Sloan and Jaboukie Young-White, will have their first half-hours debut on Comedy Central this month; TDS correspondent Roy Wood Jr., meanwhile, has starred in two hours for Comedy Central. Desi Lydic’s first one-hour special, Abroad, where she traveled the world examining how other countries are so far ahead of the US when it comes to equal treatment of women, premiered in May. And Ronny Chieng’s, Ronny Chieng International Student was a Comedy Central App exclusive series in 2018.
