Maye is based in Austin and grew up in the Rio Grande Valley, where people have called her weird (which is good for “keeping it weird!” in Austin) and sassy, but at least that’s better than being called “white girl.” As Maye jokes, sassy does not mean what you think it means. Look it up! Meanwhile, Maye thinks some people should dance like someone is watching.
