This just in: TV “critics” like sitcoms you like, plus other shows in 1st Critics’ Choice Television Awards

The inaugural Critics' Choice Television Awards announced their first slate of nominees today, and for those of you who bemoan the ritualistic snubbing of great TV comedies such as Louie, Community, Parks and Rec and Archer, well, no snubbing here!

But the "critics" – who include correspondents from Extra, Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonighta and websites even more obscure than this one — also still think Glee is a comedy. I suppose it is laughably ridiculous. But still. C'mon.

Great to see honors for Nick Offerman and Danny Pudi, finally, plus some recognition for the groundbreaking work of Louis CK.

Awards will go out June 20 in L.A., live-streaming on and airing June 22 on ReelzChannel. For reelz.
