Adele Cliff has several joke-writing awards to her credit, but coming into 2023, she figured she needed something bigger, bolder.
She wanted a big show, so she made a series of 2023 resolutions only to break her own arm, sort of, in January. That’s gotten her off-course. So, too, however, is her hour, which meanders off on diversions about the differences between being Cat Woman and being a cat lady, why showers remain superior to baths (even with a broken arm), and whether the wrist can truly be considered part of the arm or not. You want a big message? Not here. Then again, Cliff did promise to leave you older and dumber.
