Reggie Watts joins the cast of CBS soap opera in bold and beautiful stunt casting

We all could use some good, lighthearted news. Thank God for Reggie Watts.

And thank goodness for some good, old-fashioned hijinks among TV shows sharing the same studio facilities. I remember watching classic clips of Johnny Carson heading out of his own NBC studio to see what else was happening on nearby sets. Now comes Watts, the bandleader for The Late Late Show with James Corden, revealing how he moonlights during the day on the CBS soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful, which also tapes at CBS Television City in Hollywood.

Not only did they shoot all of this backstory, but they also filmed an entire episode of the soap opera without editing Watts out of it.

Roll the tape!
