The rollout begins for the “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot”

Just in time for Comic-Con, here’s the trailer for the Jay & Silent Bob Reboot, which is titled exactly that.

The reboot is about a reboot, as Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes and the characters they first inhabited in Smith’s seminal 1994 film, Clerks, learn that show business is making a movie about them, without them.

From the red-band trailer, you can see they rounded up the old gang, plus some new famous friends, and it’s all very meta again.

Jay & Silent Bob Reboot will premiere Oct. 15, 2019, via Fathom Events.

The following week, Smith and Mewes will hit the road for “The Jay and Silent Bob Reboot Roadshow,” starting Oct. 20 in Chicago.
