Jerry Seinfeld’s Beacon Theatre residency extends through 2019

Jerry Seinfeld will continue to book regular neighborhood gigs in 2019, as the comedy star has announced an extension of his monthly residency at the Beacon Theatre on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Seinfeld’s arrangement with The Beacon first began in January 2016 and concluded in December 2017 with 36 sold-out performances. The 2019 dates are as follows: Jan. 11, Feb. 8, March 14-15, April 4-5, May 3-4, and June 6-7, with performances at 7 and 9:30 p.m. on all 10 nights. Samantha Bee to present “Christmas on I.C.E.” TBS holiday comedy special

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee will put on its first holiday special, Christmas on I.C.E., for TBS this December. Bee will be joined at New York’s PlayStation Theater by special guests including skating superstar and Olympic medalist Adam Rippon. “I did not see her skate before I agreed to this,” said Rippon. Opening Ceremony also has created a capsule collection of merchandise for viewers at home.
