by I told you last week that the audiences at the 2016 Moontower Comedy Festival in Austin loved the pre-show videos that screened before every live showcase, and here’s the video local sponsors Chaotic Moon Studios made for the occasion.
It features a stand-up comedian getting back at a heckler with the help of his flying pocket robot.
The video seemed to do the trick, at least for most of the shows I attended, in preventing hecklers from shouting out during the shows. Curious to know what you think works best — in my experiences either onstage or as an audience member, nothing seems to prevent the worst audience members from turning heckler, but a tight security force does shut that down right quick. At least until we get flying pocket robots.
