Eddie Izzard’s “Force Majeure” world tour returns to U.S. for spring/summer 2015

Americans who live west of the Mississippi River will get a chance to see global comedian Eddie Izzard this spring and summer as Izzard’s “Force Majeure World Tour” returns to the U.S. for a run of theater dates from May 19 through July 1, 2015.

Among the gigs is a June 6 date at Hollywood Bowl, wherein Izzard will host a special pre-show Q&A — but only for fans with tickets in sections Q, R, S, T, U, V, W and X — so those in the back shall be front and center for an audience with the comedian.

Here’s a bit of Izzard’s from the show about going to Wembley Arena as both performer and audience member. Roll the clip!

Eddie Izzard’s Force Majeure tour, launched in March 2013, has taken him to 25 countries on five continents. Moreover, Izzard has performed the show entirely in French in France, entirely in German in Berlin, and he plans to learn and perform the show in Spanish, Russian and Arabic. He previously hit 32 U.S. cities in 2014.

If you miss him onstage, you’ll also be able to see Izzard in the Sony PlayStation original series Powers, which premieres March 10.
