The Jim Norton Show debuts on VICE.com

You can watch part one of episode one of The Jim Norton Show now on VICE.com.

Norton’s studio audience is full of fans, but he still manages to allow viewers to warm up to him with his humble self-deprecation about his looks and his show’s debut. He jokes about how they’ll make do with mistakes and have to make do without a desk. “It’s a work in progress,” he said. “There’s no desk. We didn’t go with a desk. And I don’t know if I should have or not. I don’t know what I’m going to do with my body as I’m interviewing people. I sit like Rupert Pupkin. I fucking just…I’m going to look at people and just blink uncomfortably.”

He says he’s a perfect fit for VICE. “I’m not network friendly,” Norton said.

His first guests: Mike Tyson and Dana White.

And if it’s an auto-play video, perhaps it’s already playing now!

Part two uploads Thursday.

  1. Wow this was painful to watch! I’d rather watch puppies drown than this wreck of a web show! No offense VICE, you usually do much better than this! Very disappointed. :S

  2. This show is halair! Had me busting out over and over. You can tell Dana and Mike are having a good time.
