Wendy Liebman joins Darik Santos, Joe Matarese in America’s Got Talent 2014’s Judgment Week

After what seemed like a month of repeats and repackaged highlights from the auditions for the 2014 season of America’s Got Talent, we finally moved on to Judgment Week — this time not in Las Vegas, but in New York, or New Jersey. Close enough for judge Howard Stern to make it, and that’s what matters, right? Anyhow, even Judgment Week began with a bit of a tease.

Dan Naturman received a straight pass through to the live quarterfinal rounds at Radio City Music Hall, which was great!

Few others learned their fates on Tuesday night’s episode.

And Wendy Liebman made her first appearance on the show, despite not being shown during the auditions.

Of course, Judgment Week is tough on everyone, but particularly problematic for stand-up comedians to work a mostly empty room in front of the four judges (Stern, Howie Mandel, Mel B and Heidi Klum) and crew.

So here’s Liebman’s AGT debut! It includes a snippet from her not-seen-on-TV-previously audition, in which she explained that she took time off from her career to raise a family.

Darik Santos wasn’t quite so awkward his second time around, which made it, more awkward?

Hey, did you spy Moody McCarthy in that clip just there?!

And Joe Matarese could have used an audience on his side this time.

Tune in tonight for the rest of the comedians and other acts to find out which ones make it through for the live quarterfinal rounds!
