Community’s fifth-season finale roasts NBC

ICYMI: And apparently I did, as I wasn’t paying close enough attention on Thursday night to the final credits-bumper scene of Community’s fifth-season finale. Which effectively roasted NBC over the coals for all of the failed series it has ordered up in the five seasons while allowing Community’s fate to twist in the wind.

Six seasons and a movie?

Depends upon how thick the skin and how deep the sense of humor goes for NBC programming executives after seeing the network’s own talent past and present — including B.J. Novak as “Mr. Egypt” and Questlove as the star of “Celebrity Beat-Off” — skewer their own home on the TV dial.
