Hey, comedy fans! Here’s a new thing. Actually, a few new things.
The Comic’s Comic sat down with Erik Griffin this spring before he recorded his first half-hour stand-up comedy special for Comedy Central’s The Half Hour — that debuts tonight at 12:30 a.m. Eastern/Pacific, 11:30 p.m. Central/Mountain. As long as you’re watching Comedy Central, you probably recognize Griffin from his recurring role as Montez on the network’s hit series, Workaholics. I spoke with Griffin about all of that, how he had taken a break from his comedy career, and if he’s ever taken a break from his facial hair. That, plus his first stand-up comedy CD, “Technical Foul: Volume One.”
It’s all in this very special video interview. Roll it!
And here’s a clip from Erik Griffin’s edition of The Half Hour. Up top, he mentions the differences between male fans of Workaholics and female fans from that same show.
Want more? Pick up a copy of his CD, “Technical Foul: Volume One,” from Side One Dummy Records.
