Key & Peele present “McFerrin vs. Winslow”

The first season of Key & Peele has been such a delight that it’s not surprising that Comedy Central quickly renewed the sketch comedy series for a second season. Actually, perhaps that is surprising, considering Comedy Central’s recent track record on sketch.

Check out this sketch from last week’s episode. I’d like to imagine the writer conjuring up the screenplay for a “mouth noise” battle between Bobby McFerrin and Michael Winslow, and then seeing the reactions from the cast and crew during the initial table read. Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele impressively pull this one off (as they have throughout their first season as a duo), and there’s barely any discernable regular dialogue at all, supplied in a cameo by the UCB’s Matt Besser.

Roll the clip!

New episodes of Key & Peele air Tuesday nights on Comedy Central.
