Thankfully, the success of Marcel the Shell with Shoes On is a wonderful thing created by truly talented and funny people, and has become a success online and in print as a children’s book for all the right reasons. Jenny Slate, the former SNLer who voices Marcel, went on Conan this week to discuss how she does the voice for Marcel, as well as other voices (based on her grandmothers). It’s simply splendid.
