Comedy Central to roast Charlie Sheen; dead horses beaten, coffins nailed

In case anyone actually was born yesterday and also fell off a turnip truck, Comedy Central will be getting the ol' gang of comedians and celebrities together in September for the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen.

It'll tape in Los Angeles on Sept. 10, 2011, then air on the network on Sept. 19, 2011.

In the predictable quotes department, Sheen came up with this: ‚ÄúYou could say I've been providing kindling for this Roast for a while. It's time to light it up. It's going to be epic.‚Äù

Kindling? Light it up? Epic?

Every Charlie Sheen joke imaginable already was said, typed and copied-and-pasted this year, and Jeffrey Ross spent this spring joining Sheen on tour to roast him in front of live audiences. At least Comedy Central's won't cost you anything extra. To watch or not to watch. That isn't really a question.
