Alice Snedden’s new hour, her first Fringe show since before the pandemic, stands in stark contrast to the hours that precede her in the Pleasance Upstairs space. “A lot of comedians are tackling childhood trauma, but I’m willing to take on cummerbunds.”
So expect a much more lighthearted hour out of her. She’d rather catch us all up on how her life has changed; namely, she’s in a long-term relationship with a woman bringing much different vibes. Like practicing karaoke alone at home vibes. Snedden also inherited a car along the way, though she seemed to have misplaced it for six months. Or did someone steal her car?! Law enforcement has their ideas, and Snedden hers, and she’ll make her case to us as she proceeds through the civil courts system.
While you might not walk away with any profound revelations, you will walk away entertained. Even if she may have to yell at you first to shoo you out of the room. For good reason. She’s got her own song to sing.
