Matt Goldich is dry, droll and self-aware. It’s evident even in the title for his Fringe debut, which he also tells us marks his first performances outside the United States.
So Goldich can mock himself further for his naivete, not knowing about poster marketing photos or about not writing a Fringe arc, or not measuring up to the show preceded him in the room. Or that he waited to be invited when he could just come and book this room on his own. But Goldich, a longtime staff writer on Late Night with Seth Meyers, remains a sharp joke writer. Even when he’s on strike.
