Being an adult only child, with no kids of his own, might make Christmas awkward, but it allows Bell to lavish himself with all of the things he couldn’t necessarily enjoy when he was growing up.
That includes bottles of Perrier, which he may jokingly compare to “flat Sprite,” but which also serves as a status symbol that changes the way strangers view him.
