Mike Birbiglia talking about old jokes on SiriusXM to promote his current tour of new jokes

Mike Birbiglia will launch a five-part interview series this week on SiriusXM Comedy Greats channel 94 that looks back on the making of his previous stand-up comedy albums.

“The Old Ones” kicks off Thursday with John Mulaney talking with Birbiglia about what went into his first album, “Two Drink Mike.” Other special guests include Birbiglia’s brother, Joe; his wife, Jennifer Stein; and other collaborators such as Judd Apatow and Pete Holmes. Episodes will air five consecutive Thursdays at 6 p.m. Eastern.

It’s all to celebrate Birbiglia’s current national tour, “The New One.”

Each episode will debut on Comedy Greats channel 94 on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. ET, with replays on Fridays at 11:00 a.m. ET, Saturdays at 6:00 p.m. ET, and Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. ET.
