Netflix gets topical again with weekly Joel McHale Soup-like reboot

If you miss The Soup, and you particularly missed Joel McHale, then Netflix has great news for you.

The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale, a new weekly topical half-hour series, debuts Feb. 18, 2018, with 13 episodes ordered.

It’ll tape on Thursdays and air new episodes Sundays. The official description?

It’s a fast and funny distillation of everything people are talking about that week. Featuring celebrity guests, comedy sketches, and insane video clips from the worldwide realms of TV, sports, politics, celebrity culture, and every corner of the internet, The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale is destination viewing for comedy lovers, or people who just really, really like green screens.

McHale executive produces along with Paul Feig, Jessie Henderson and former EPs and producers from The Soup in KP Anderson, Brad Stevens and Boyd Vico.
