by Ed Helms and Kevin Hart co-star in a new animated movie, Captain Underpants. But as Helms told Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the two comedians have known each other for almost 20 years.
Helms talked about hosting the open mic at Boston Comedy Club in New York City (the club no longer exists, although you see a fictional re-creation of it in Pete Holmes HBO show, Crashing) at the same time as Hart was making his own initial forays into NYC. Helms joked about how one of his comebacks to a heckler blew up in his face.
