by Daniel Sloss is only 25 but already has eight tours of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival under his belt, plus five appearances on American television via Conan in the past couple of years. How did he get so big in Scotland and around the world at such a young age? And why is his latest solo show called “Dark,” anyhow? Sloss sat down with me in the basement of the Soho Playhouse before his first American run begins on Feb. 9, 2016. He’ll play five nights in New York City, then take the 90-minute show out to Los Angeles for at least two performances later in February.
