The Kids In The Hall wrapped up a 2015 tour of new sketches for their classic comedy characters with a performance on the all-star Festival Supreme last weekend in Los Angeles.
And The Hollywood Reporter managed to wrangle all five members of KITH — Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson — together for for a few minutes of some intense and so not tense questioning. They recall their start and having Lorne Michaels on their side, playing women in sketches, loving Monty Python, and the ramifications of Thompson’s open homosexuality.
Roll the clip!
You can see Foley this fall on ABC’s Dr. Ken, while McKinney will appear in the NBC midseason sitcom, Superstore. Thompson co-hosts the Scott Free podcast. McCulloch stars in Young Drunk Punk on CBC. And McDonald tours North America performing and teaching improv to impressionable comedians.
I couldn't hear the other KITH on stage, during our show but it looked like it went well. No one threw things.
