Paul Zerdin’s live quarterfinal round at America’s Got Talent 2015 from Radio City Music Hall

Paul Zerdin is a British ventriloquist looking to make it in America, and he received a “Golden Buzzer” fast pass to Tuesday night’s quarterfinal round of America’s Got Talent at Radio City Music Hall.

Zerdin impressed the judges and audience by leaving his dummy in the bag, and then alone onstage to perform. Of course, judge Heidi Klum once again proved the outlier — is she not getting comedy like everyone else because she’s German, because she’s a supermodel, or because she’s serving as a stand-in for audience members who only get comedy that’s served right down the middle? (that’s a question for another time and place, perhaps)

What did you think? Did you vote for him? Would you vote for him? Find out tonight if Zerdin advances to the semifinals.
