Margaret Cho, Heather McDonald to co-host new weekly late-night talker for TLC “All About Sex,” Cho to film new stand-up special in March

TLC has announced a new weekly late night talk show that’ll debut with six half-hour episodes in January that are All About Sex, anchored and co-hosted by comedians Margaret Cho and Heather McDonald, actress Marissa Jaret Winokur and Dr. Tiffanie Davis Henry.

All About Sex debuts at 11 p.m. ET/PT Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015.

According to TLC: “The weekly series will take on the latest headlines, break down the “behind closed doors” conversations about sex and love, and connect with women via social media to answer question and dispel misconceptions about what could be considered America’s favorite pastime.”

Also today, Cho announced that her winter stand-up tour, which picks up after Christmas, will including filming a new stand-up special March 7 in New York City. Cho said:

“I’m so thrilled to announce that I will be filming my new special at the Gramercy Theatre in NYC on March 7th (additional show on March 6 will not be filmed) and I want you to come! This is my most exciting show to date and I can’t wait to share it with you. This show is all about the insanity in the world – it’s called “there’s no “I” in Team, but there is a “Cho” in Psycho.”   I’ve been saving NYC just for this, so please join me for this party. It’s going to be legendary!”

Pre-sale for Cho’s special tapings start today (password: Moran), with a general ticket sale starting Monday.

For much of the past month, Cho has been busking in the streets of San Francisco to raise money for the homeless in an effort to be more like the late Robin Williams and his Comic Relief campaign, #BeRobin.

All About Sex is being produced by Relativity Television and Ellen Rakieten Entertainment for TLC.
