The fifth finalist will be announced then, performing as a wild-card based on your votes from among the other eight semifinal acts not chosen by judges Kenan Thompson, Chrissy Teigen and Jeff Foxworthy.

The winner will be announced the Tuesday after the finals (Sept. 17).
