James Corden profiled on CBS Sunday Morning

American audiences are just warming up to James Corden.

Broadway fans already bestowed a Tony Award to Corden a couple of years ago, and Brits know him from sitcoms such as Gavin and Stacey and panel chats. This Christmas, Corden stars in the new season of The Wrong Mans on Hulu, and co-stars in the movie musical adaptation of Into the Woods. Come March, we’ll all get to know a lot more about Corden when he takes over hosting duties of The Late Late Show on CBS.

CBS Sunday Morning profiled Corden this week.

“I think I will be stimulated beyond anything I’ve ever done in my career,” Corden said. “Here, every day, an hour of TV. Whether you like it or not, there’s another show tomorrow. If I could have told my 12-year-old self that at this stage in my life I would be offered one of these chairs, one of these five chairs, his head would explode!”
