All Things Comedy’s fund-raiser to open Hollywood podcasting and video studio

There’s no My Pod Week this week because our main man with the master podcast plan, Mike Flinn, has been busy helping his podcast overlords at All Things Comedy.

And they need your help, too.

Here’s a pitch video released today by comedian Al Madrigal, who started the All Things Comedy podcast and video network with Bill Burr. They have 76 comedians and 49 channels so far, but no proper studio. So that’s what this fund-raiser aims to do.

In their own words, at the All Things Comedy Original Content page on TubeStart:

We need your help to get our new studio in Hollywood up and running. All Things Comedy is a collective of working comedians that provide you with free and uncensored podcasts every day. Our goal from the start was to keep creative control in the hands of the artist and to cut out the middle men. Groups like ours are becoming increasingly rare, but with support from our listeners we can continue to grow and bring opportunities to every voice on the network. We have fifty podcasts on ATC and each show has a unique perspective, sense of humor, and personality. What they all have in common is a commitment to this community and its audience. If you enjoy what ATC brings you, please help us out now by purchasing one or more of these nice looking vinyl decals. Thank you.

They’re asking for $10,000. If you can help them, please do.
