Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to broadcast live from Phoenix following Super Bowl XLIX in 2015

Jimmy Fallon’s heading back to the Super Bowl.

NBC announced today that The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will broadcast live on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, from the Orpheum Theater in Phoenix.

The special live Tonight Show will air live following Super Bowl XLIX, a special episode The Blacklist, and the local NBC newscasts.

But that’s not all.

The Tonight Show then will tape that following week — Feb. 2-5, 2014 — from Universal Studios Hollywood.

The Tonight Show‘s first road trip with Fallon and The Roots happened this June, when they visited the Universal Studios theme park in Orlando.

No details yet on how to get audience tickets for either the Super Bowl Sunday telecast in Phoenix or the week’s worth of tapings in Los Angeles.

PreviouslyFallon taped his Late Night show from Indianapolis during Super Bowl week in 2012 and live following Super Bowl XLVI.
