Bounce TV has renewed its stand-up comedy series, Off The Chain, and simultaneously announced a live summer tour headlined by the series host, Rodney Perry.
Second-season episodes are airing this summer, with the third season premiering in the fall.
Perry, the former co-host of The Mo’Nique Show and Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes?, and “Harold” in Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family, will headline in all six cities on the tour, along with Rion Evans as MC, and two local comedians featuring in each market. The tour will double as a barnstormimg opportunity for Perry and Evans to talk up the series — described as “a family-friendly stand-up comedy show featuring the hottest African American comedians on the planet” — to local Bounce TV affiliates.
The Off The Chain Live! Tour:
- June 18-19: Charlotte, NC — Comedy Zone
- June 27-29: Columbia, SC — Comedy House
- July 3: Birmingham, AL — Stardome
- Aug. 14-16: Chattanooga, Tenn. — Comedy Catch
