Late Night with Jimmy Fallon includes so many buzzworthy segments that take place away from the late-night TV panel desk and chairs, that it’d almost behoove a site to just place a permanent link to the show.
But this lip sync challenge from Tuesday night’s show singlehandedly will make you want to check out the new projects that Stephen Merchant and Joseph Gordon Levitt went on Late Night to promote in the first place.
Stephen Merchant performs to the tunes of “Boom! Shake the Room” by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, and “Single Ladies” by Beyonce. JGL took on Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer” and Nicki Minaj’s “Superbass.” Fallon, for his part, went 1980s with “Don’t You Want Me” by Human League and A-ha’s “Take On Me.”
So sit back and enjoy.
Stephen Merchant’s new HBO sitcom, Hello Ladies, debuts Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013.
Joseph Gordon Levitt’s upcoming project, HitRECord on TV!, is part of the new cable channel, Pivot.
