Comedy Headlines for 1/3/13

What’s happening in the comedy world now…

  • IFC announced its principal cast for the upcoming animated series, Out There, which premieres Feb. 22, 2013, from creator Ryan Quincy (who’ll voice the main character). Quincy will be joined by the voices for Pamela Adlon, Fred Armisen, Linda Cardellini, John DiMaggio, Kate Micucci, Megan Mullally and Justin Rolland.
  • Conan O’Brien’s Conaco has a script order from FOX for the single-cam cheekily named Bob’s New Heart Show. You get it? You get it. It’s from Community’s Ben Wexler, about a doctor returning to work after a heart transplant. Not Bob Newhart. But still, you get it.
