- The inaugural NYC PodFest, Jan. 12-13, 2013, has announced its full lineup for live broadcasts at The PIT, which shall include “How Was Your Week” (Julie Klausner), “RISK!” (Kevin Allison), “The Dork Forest” (Jackie Kashian), “Dave Hill’s Podcasting Incident” (Dave Hill), “The Jeff Rubin Jeff Rubin Show” (Jeff Rubin), “It’s That Episode” (Craig Rowin); Nerdist Networks’ “Comic Book Club” (Justin Tyler, Pete LePage and Alex Zalben), “Hang Out With Me” (Myq Kaplan), in addition to “Beginnings“, “Here To Help” (Andy Rocco), “My Dumb Friends” (Sean Donnelly and Dan St. Germain), “Pod Awful With Jesse P-S,” “ThisMyShow” (Jeremy Wein) and The PITcast (Iliana Inocencio and Rob Gilbert), “Ear Candy,” “Worst Gig Ever” “Iconoclash” and many more.
- Jeff Dunham launched a new weekday video/audio feature on Monday, “Achmed’s Daily Bombs” at Dunham’s YouTube Channel (www.youtube.com/jeffdunham) — it’s also on iTunes as a daily podcast hosted by the Sideshow Network — offering Achmed The Dead Terrorists views on the daily headlines.
- Kenan Thompson and Lorne Michaels have reached a script commitment with NBC for an untitled family sitcom in which Thompson’s character would move in with his in-laws.
- NBC also has bought on spec from Jessie Miller and Bennett Wolin a sitcom script about a woman in her 30s who finds that her family members are more of a mess than even she thinks she is. They’re repped by UTA.
