Goodbye, Hello, CC:Studios

Comedy Central has begun consolidating its various digital entities, and that means switching domain names of and to fall under the main Comedy Central umbrella.

Up first, CC: Studios — which has taken all of the various web series and “viral” video candidates that had appeared on — and placed them here:¬†Look for the future of new content to be more heavily connected with the network brand.

If you look at the top of the page, where there is a drop-down menu for “MORE SITES,” you’ll notice that one of the options is CC: STAND-UP. That links to still, but the plan is to eventually move content over to a new site, corresponding to the other domain name addresses for the network. That timetable is not yet set, sources at the network told The Comic’s Comic.
