by Remember when Ricky Gervais hosted the Golden Globes and made all those silly jokes about all of these silly celebrities and their horrible movies and personal scandals and then this little piggy went “Wee! Wee! Wee!” all the way home? Oh. You do still remember that? Is it because Gervais keeps reminding us? Is it because the press cannot get enough of it? Yes, yes, maybe, yes, yes, maybe. That’s more answers than questions.

Point is, Gervais convinced Johnny Depp to appear on his latest TV series, Life’s Too Short, which premieres in November on BBC Two and sometime in 2012 on HBO in America.
