Byron Allen's entertainment empire, Entertainment Studios, is unleashing four more comics on TV in a new weekday syndicated chat show that debuts Monday, Sept. 20.
The Gossip Queens will enjoy what's known as a "slow rollout" in syndication, according to the press release, debuting on TV stations in Chicago (WCIU), San Francisco (KNTV), Tampa (WTSP), Orlando (WRDQ) and Baltimore (WBFF), in addition to nightly cable positions on the Logo network and Entertainment Studio's own cable network, Comedy.TV.
As the title suggests, it's all gossip, all queeny, hosted by comedians and featuring celebrity gossip bloggers and magazine editors as guests to help dish on the daily buzz. Your hosts are Loni Love, Alec Mapa, Bernadette Pauley and Michelle Collins. Allen said in a statement: "Loni, Alec, Michelle and Bernadette are all extraordinary talents, and this show is the perfect blend of comedy and gossip. 'The Gossip Queens' is fresh, bold, and funny. This show is simply unstoppable."
