Conan O'Brien's first legitimate TV interview since departing NBC and The Tonight Show just aired on 60 Minutes, and if you had watched the teaser clips CBS produced in the past few days, then you knew what to expect. Particularly since O'Brien contractually cannot be completely open about his feelings toward NBC and Jay Leno. At least not publicly. But CBS has so much bonus footage you almost think they could have done an entire hour on Conan!
Want to see the full segment as it aired on TV?
Here is how Conan reacted when Steve Kroft mentioned Leno:
And here's something you didn't see on the air: Conan O'Brien taking Kroft for a spin in the comedian's Ford Taurus, which he drove for the first few years he was on Late Night, inspected in Massachusetts in 1992:
Also, what's up with Conan's hair? He explains he started making his hair look distinctive back in high school…
Want to hear some of Conan O'Brien's "Not on TV Blues" from his live stage tour? CBS has some of that, too, as he discusses going through the stages of denial and more, with references to Snooki and Kim Kardashian still having TV shows!
Here, meanwhile, Conan explains why going to TBS this fall is a good idea. "We're going to let you do what you want to do. Period." That sold him. Plus, he said, "Stephen Colbert is not bitching about being on cable." Indeed:
What about @ConanOBrien on Twitter? He made fun of it when he had a TV show, but sticks up for it now, and says it's great for comedians.
And finally, Conan tries to put the past few months into perspective, moving across the country, losing his job, and wondering what had happened. He's going to be just fine, people. Team Coco!

I knew you had my back, Sean, when I was on my 2nd bourbon and ginger at Char 4 and blurted out, “Damn! Forgot to Tivo 60 Minutes!! Hit me again!!”
The higher the hair, the closer to God… I always say.
Though, I’ve never actually said that out loud.
