Louis CK’s “Louie” has an April 1 debut date and its first FX promo clip

FX announced this week that it would launch Louis CK's new original sitcom, Louie, on Thursday, April 1. April Fool's Day, indeed. The first season's 13 episodes will air at 10 p.m. Thursdays.

There's not much on the cable channel's program site yet, but there is a 30-second promotional clip, which shows Louis CK dealing with life as a single dad with two young daughters (which he is in real life, as well as on the sitcom, for your semi-autobiographical comedy needs). Yes, that's the real MTA subway voiceover. No, that's not a real New York City subway car. Yes, that is a situation many of us can relate to. Any other questions? Roll the clip!
