Scott Bateman animates Sarah Palin’s resignation

Talk about a fast turnaround. Within a few hours of Sarah Palin's abrupt announcement resigning as Alaska's governor on Friday afternoon, animator Scott Bateman had a new clip online for True/Slant. Bateman also reproduces and reanimates crazy moments in actual politics for Salon.com. If only this had happened a day earlier, he could have had this in his arsenal for his live Scott Bateman Animation Show with guests Janeane Garofalo, Jamie Kilstein and Pete Holmes. That show on Thursday at The PIT was sold-out and fun times, anyhow. Speaking of anyhows, here's the darned Palin clip!

Related: If you like what you see, Scott Bateman also re-did a full-length feature film, Atom Age Vampire.
