The Office Webisodes: Take Two

Through my friendly cohorts over at Entertainment Weekly‘s PopWatch blog, we learned that NBC debuted its new series of summer mini-Webisodes for its sitcom The Office late yesterday. I agree with Gary that the first two-minute clip isn’t exactly the strongest intro, although I did enjoy Oscar’s impersonation of Kevin. The more intriguing thing to remember is that these Webisodes last year were one of the things mentioned during the Writers Guild strike as extra "unpaid" work, and if you had forgotten about that, the Screen Actors Guild might be all too happy to remind you by potentially throwing a wrench into this coming year’s programming. Anyhow. So, now that the writers will see a share of the revenues from these extra online programs, will they be better? Here’s the first Office Webisode of "Kevin’s Loan," followed by a preview teaser of where the storyline is heading…
