“CBS Knows Sex,” but “Two and a Half Men” co-creator prefers penis jokes to vagina jokes

Lee Aronsohn, co-creator of Two and A Half Men as well as an executive producer another CBS sitcom, The Big Bang Theory, had this to say over the weekend at the Toronto Screenwriting Conference about this year’s crop of female-centered sitcoms:

“Enough ladies. I get it. You have periods.”

And also this:

“We’re approaching peak vagina on television, the point of labia saturation.”

Guess he prefers his show’s dick jokes over vagina jokes. Hmmm.

Coincidentally, one of the UCB’s house Beta teams, The Punch, may have beaten Aronsohn to the punch with this video emphasizing the CBS joke strategy. It’s called “CBS Knows Sex.” Roll it!

  1. No coverage of Carolines Final Four or Laughing Skull but Two and a Half men coverage. This blogs okay but it’s not for comics anymore.

    1. Well, sure. Because bogus scam “contests” = comedy. Everyone knows that. (Except, you know, actual working comics.)
