Sarah Roberts: “Scary Movie 7” at Edinburgh Fringe 2026

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fears are funny (weird) in how they can encompass both sides of an issue or outcome. For example, comedian Sarah Roberts says she has a fear of being alone, and yet she also fears people. In her case, Roberts kind of brought that upon herself in the womb. I’ll let her explain.

If you’re not terminally online, then Roberts will also fill you in on how she went viral for a Tweet about the time her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend liked, and then unliked her Instagram page. The story takes a turn, but one that you will ultimately like and share.

Roberts also worries about not having a thing in life that’s her thing. She once thought it was love and romance, but she has found herself unlucky in love since her youth. And now, at 34? She wants to be known for more than just her “big naturals,” and that being called “mysterious” is not the compliment her ex thought it was.

For now, Roberts should be considered funny and fun to be around. The more you know her, perhaps the more you’ll come to love her, too. Hopefully without the summer 2026 comparisons to Nikki from Obsession.

Sarah Roberts: Scary Movie 7 plays Monkey Barrel 2 during the 2026 Edinburgh Fringe.
