Comedy News for Feb. 20-26, 2023

That might not be an actual Dilbert strip above, but it’s a reflection of the current state of cartoonist Scott Adams, whose ramblings about how race relations are doomed got his strip pulled from syndication over the weekend.

So a few words on his trolling and whatnot, how comedy, journalism and activism are somehow maybe all related, plus a NYC “comedian” wanted by the NYPD as the suspect in a January subway shooting, all of the week’s relevant comedy news, and me trying to figure out just how many new stand-up specials are out there in the world this year already.

All in this week’s dispatch From The Comic’s Comic, available as an email straight to your inbox if you subscribe to my Substack, Piffany!
