by The 2022 season of America’s Got Talent premiered Tuesday night on NBC, and they’re not pulling any punches from the get-go. Among the first to audition this year: stand-up comedian Mike E. Winfield, who won NBC’s Stand-Up competition for diversity in 2019. Winfield impressed the judges and the audience even more so with his jokes about having a stepson who’s close to his age, as well as life working in a grocery store when you have to stand watch on the self-checkout line.
