New York Comedy Festival Sets 2021 Dates, Back in Person

Today must be Comedy Festival Announcement Day, because hot off the heels of an initial lineup out of Montreal for JFL, here comes the New York Comedy Festival, letting us know they’re planning in-person shows around the city once again this November.

Specifically, Nov. 8-14, 2021.

Tickets won’t go on sale until August, so don’t worry about that just yet. For now, it’s more of a Mark Your Calendars or Set The Date announcement.

After COVID cancelled the 2020 fest, festival founder and Carolines on Broadway owner Caroline Hirsch says her festival is returning in 2021. Telling Variety: “We’re thrilled to be able to reunite fans with their favorite comedians again as New York City continues on the road to recovery. In this 17th year of the New York Comedy Festival, we celebrate the varied and diverse talent – both up-and-coming and established stars — who continue to elevate the comedic landscape and deliver the laughs and joy that we all need now, more than ever.
