The Tonight Show has started booking stand-up comedians again, with a twist. Instead of performing for a live audience inside 30 Rock, since The Tonight Show doesn’t have live audiences outside of cast and crew, the show is filming stand-ups from the road. They started this off a month ago with Nate Bargatze performing at Stand-Up Live Huntsville. Now here’s Josh Johnson, recorded earlier from a gig at the Arlington Drafthouse.
Johnson jokes about the hijinks that ensue whenever he calls his grandfather in assisted living, as well as the alternative reality of rom-com movies.
