Netflix releases All-Star Comedy Video to Help Comedy Gives Back: ‘Hey, Remember Comedy?’

Netflix got Neal Brennan to put together a 20-minute parade of comedy all-stars shouting out comedy (the video is titled, “Hey, Remember Comedy?”) to jumpstart a new BIPOC Stand Up Comedian Fund through Comedy Gives Back.

The fund will assist Black, Indigenous, People of Color comedians with their finances to survive the pandemic and thrive on the other side of it. Comedy Gives Back previously raised more than $368,000 from April’s Laugh Aid benefit for a COVID-19 Relief Fund, allowing them to dole out $500 checks to up to 736 unemployed comedians (who were previously working and earning at least $12,000 a year but not earning more than $70,000).

“Hey, Remember Comedy?” features Brennan joking and talking with Adam Sandler, Amy Schumer, Bert Kreischer, Bill Burr, Chris Rock, David Letterman, Ellen DeGeneres, Eric Andre, Gabe Iglesias, George Lopez, Hannah Gadsby,  Hasan Minhaj, Iliza Shlesinger, Jerry Seinfeld, Jo Koy, John Mulaney, Kevin Hart, Leslie Jones,  Nick Kroll, Ronny Chieng, Sam Jay, Sarah Silverman, Sebastian Maniscalco, Steve Martin, Taylor Tomlinson, Tig Notaro, Tiffany Haddish, Tom Papa, Wanda Sykes and Whitney Cummings.
