Ted Lasso finds Sudeikis, an American football coach, trying to lead English football clubs. He’s writing the Apple TV+ series with Bill Lawrence. They’re executive producing it for Lawrence’s Doozer Productions alongside Warner Bros. Television.
Sudeikis began appearing on NBC Sports as Lasso shortly after his departure from the cast of Saturday Night Live in the summer of 2013.
He returned the following August, to try, try again.
No word yet on when he’ll surface on Apple TV+.
